Visiting Santa

This was truly an experience.....Connor likes Santa Claus, but has no interest in actually talking to the man in person. I thought I had an "in" this year....we had a plan to go to the "BIG Toy Store" (aka Toys R Us) and look around at all the toys and then head across the street to the mall to tell Santa what we saw. Great plan in theory. Connor wanted to head home right when we walked out of fantasy land (toys r us) and was extremely unhappy when he was informed we were still going b/c Teagan and Jack (Shannon and Jack joined us on this outing....power in numbers) wanted to see Santa. We've (Connor and I) both had our better days. Below are some pictures from the fun-filled event.

Connor when we first got in line....now it wasn't even a long line - we had to wait maybe 10 minutes. Below is Jack - he just cracks me up b/c he seems to be indifferent about Sant....he could take him or leave him.

I forgot Teagan's stroller so Shannon rented this one for us......yes, for those who really know me, I was freaking out (on the inside) about Teagan chewing on the steering wheel.

When she finally stopped chewing on it she actually looked like she was trying to steer -- too cute!

Holiday Pics

Here's my attempt to take pictures of Teagan and Connor for our Holiday card....it actually went okay. Of course to get a "decent" picture of them together proved to be a little difficult.

Our little princess in her new dress and hat that her Mema made for her....as you can see she looks adorable!

She's fascinated with shoes....especially her own shoes. These are just a smidge big so she can easily pull them off to use them as a teether toy.

Costumes and Trunk or Treat

Teagan and Connor in their Halloween costumes.....Teagan kept staring at Connor - you could tell she was thinking "what the ....". When I finally got her to look at me the obvious thing happened....C looked at her. Below the costume pics are some pics of Connor jumping right in with kids he didn't even know when we went to our neighbor's trunk or treat. For those who don't know what that is.....you show up and decorate the trunk of your vehicle and then the kiddos go car to car trick or treating. C had a blast. The last pic is of Connor and Alec - a neighbor who will be in C's class when he starts school at Oologah.

little update with some pics

It's hard for me to believe that October is almost over......one more week until Halloween. Last weekend I had great plans for myself and the kiddos. We were going to hang out with their cousins Maddie & Emmie, go to the pumpkin patch, the fall festival & Spookaroo at the kiddie park in Bville. Sounds like fun times, right? Yeah, well none of it happened b/c I got sick....really sick - very very unpleasant sick. So this weekend I have nothing really planned and hopefully something fun will occur. The weather is going to be great so I know we'll get out and about....need to get some pics of the kiddos in their costumes. Tommorrow is Ames' birthday....Happy Birthday girl! I hope Steve gets a sitter and takes you out to dinner!!! ;-) Below are some pictures taken this month.....Teagan hit the 5 month mark and I know it's going to be EXTREMELY hard to believe that I didn't take a picture of her on the actual date. (gasp!!) She did do some rolling over a few times in a row.....mom and Tim attempted to record it....IMO they are too long to post.
