Christmas with the Stuarts

Unfoturnately the snow did keep us from celebrating with my family on Christmas day, but when we did get together we had a great time.

Christmas Afternoon

The snow did it best to keep us in, but the chevy came through and got us safely to Inola and back home. The most fun was outside playing in the snow. Jason & Judy have a nice little hill that the kids sled down and then Jason got his 4-wheeler out and pulled the kids around the yard.

Christmas Morning

Connor came running into our room that Santa came......he yelled for Teagan and when she walked into the living room she wasn't quite sure what was going on. It didn't take her very long to figure out what was hers. It was so fun to watch!

Cookies for Santa

We had so much fun making cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve. As you can see Teag was all about helping and big brother was great about letting her. I should have taken pics of their finished products.....let's just say we test tasted for Santa and they still tasted yummy!!

Christmas Train

We met Mema and Papa at the Christmas Train in Dry Gulch USA. It took a little convincing, but Connor reluctantly agreed to eat before we rode the train. The line wasn't as long after we ate, which was nice since it was a little chilly. After the train ride we strolled around the "town" and played a few games in the arcade, let Connor ride a pony (Teagan had no interest), rode the carousel and let the kids play on the play ground before we headed back home.

Oologah Christmas Parade

I was so proud of my boy......as expected he had no desire to go up on the "stage" and sing in front of everyone with his classmates. We stood to the side and watched. A friend from his class, Tara, showed up and was scared b/c she didn't recognize anyone (the Kindergarten class also was singing). Connor went up to her to reassure her and they both went out to sing arm and arm.
Teagan and Aunt Heather......the girls had a sleepover in Owasso so we were delighted when Heather called and asked if she could stay the night with us!

My best bud Shannon....her and Jack came to watch Connor sing and then come over to our house for some hot cocoa and dinner.

Teagan started out next to Connor and then thought sitting on his back would be fun.....after a few minutes she got the grand idea to stand on him. C was nice enough to let her - BEST BIG BROTHER EVER!!
