Teagan - Two Weeks

I promise I had the best intention to update this blog more often…..the past few weeks have been tougher than what I anticipated based on the “easy” delivery. We learned at our 1st doctor’s appointment that she had not gained weight back to her birth weight. She was weighing 7 lbs 14 oz. The doctor was/is a little concerned b/c we’ve had to take her back every other day to get her weighed to make sure she is going in the right direction. For those of you who have experienced the emotions/hormones after delivery will understand where my state of mind has been…..as of last Thursday she weighed 8 lbs 1.5 oz – which is a good thing. We take her back today and I’m anxious to see where we are at. Connor has been a fabulous big brother….of course we’ve had our moments where he has said he doesn’t want to be a big brother anymore – we worked through those moments (which typically happens around nap time or bed time). All in all we are doing great!
